As an HVAC Installer, you'll be responsible for installing, replacing, and upgrading residential HVAC systems while ensuring every job meets manufacturer specifications, local codes, and Croaker Heating and Air's high standards of workmanship and customer service. What You'll DoInstallation Responsibilities Install residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems Replace and upgrade existing HVAC equipment Install air handlers, condensers, furnaces, thermostats, duct modifications, and related system components Ensure all installations comply with manufacturer specifications, company standards, and local building codes Test system performance and verify proper operation before job completion Troubleshoot and resolve installation challenges in the field Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Customer Service Communicate professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process Explain system operation, maintenance requirements, and warranty information Answer customer questions regarding equipment features, benefits, and performance Deliver an exceptional customer experience from start to finish Team & Technology Work closely with dispatch, management, and fellow installers to maintain scheduling efficiency Utilize company-issued technology to document job progress and completion Participate in company-sponsored training and continuing education opportunities Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle, tools, and inventory What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of residential HVAC installation experience Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Ability to read installation specifications and follow company procedures Excellent communication and customer service skills Preferred Qualifications EPA Certification NATE Certification Indoor Air Quality experience Light commercial installation experience Sales or customer education experience Skills & Competencies Residential HVAC installation expertise Mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills Strong attention to detail Time management and organization Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professional communication skills Customer-focused mindset Safety awareness and compliance Problem-solving abilities Pride in workmanship and quality installations Why Join Croaker Heating and Air?
