This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of HVAC equipment, including refrigeration systems, boilers, and ventilation units. Your mechanical expertise and field service experience will ensure optimal operation of heating and cooling systems, contributing to safe, comfortable environments for our clients. Duties Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure efficiency and safety standards are met. Conduct plumbing work related to HVAC systems such as refrigerant lines, condensate drainage, and water supply connections. Utilize diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for component repairs or replacements. Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders, and document repairs thoroughly for compliance and future reference. Operate a driver vehicle safely to transport tools, parts, or equipment between job sites while adhering to all safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Skilled in reading schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals with the ability to apply this knowledge practically. Experience with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is highly desirable. Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC applications; familiarity with appliance repair is a plus. Ability to perform electrical testing using tools like ohmmeters; welding skills are advantageous. Hands-on experience with property maintenance tasks involving air conditioning units, boilers, or ventilation systems.
