Apprentice HVAC Service Technician West Techs Chill Water Specialist - 4.0 Odessa, TX Job Details Full-time $18 - $30 an hour 3 days ago Benefits Paid holidays Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance Qualifications Customer communication In-person customer service Full Job Description West Techs Chill Water Specialist is a commercial and industrial HVAC company specializing in chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air conditioning service, industrial coating, and rental chiller solutions. We are a servicedriven organization that differentiates itself through technical excellence, accountability, and teamwork . We're selective about who joins our team because our reputation is built on doing things right - for our customers and for each other. Pay $18.00 - $30.00 per hour (Based on experience, performance, and ongoing training participation) Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1hour lunch) Rotating oncall schedule for emergency service (after training period) Occasional nights and weekends as required Primary Responsibilities Assist with maintenance and repairs on commercial HVAC equipment Perform basic troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical systems under supervision Learn to read wiring diagrams and equipment schematics Support senior technicians on service calls and projects Deliver a professional and respectful customer experience Communicate job status and questions to the Service Manager and senior technicians Complete service documentation accurately using company software Maintain company tools, vehicle, and work area in a clean and professional manner Reports To Service Manager Required Qualifications Universal EPA Certification (or ability to obtain shortly after hire) Basic understanding of HVAC systems and tools Willingness to learn commercial HVAC equipment and troubleshooting techniques 1+ year of HVAC experience , or completion of an HVAC trade school, Associate degree, or technical certification Ability to interact professionally with customers and team members Dependable, punctual, and safetyminded Willingness to accept responsibility and contribute to a team environment Ability to follow direction and learn from experienced technicians What We Offer Handson training and mentorship Clear path for advancement into higherlevel service roles Competitive hourly pay with performancebased growth Teamfocused culture with high standards and support Who This Role Is Best For HVAC trade school graduates Entrylevel commercial HVAC technicians Residential techs looking to transition into commercial work Candidates seeking longterm growth in a commercial/industrial environment
