Job Description

Job Duties:
Assist Controls Technicians with the installation, startup, and troubleshooting of building automation and HVAC control systems. Pull low-voltage wire and install conduit, sensors, controllers, and other control components. Read and interpret basic drawings, wiring diagrams, and project specifications. Support the programming, commissioning, and testing of HVAC controls under supervision. Use hand tools and test equipment to assist with system installation and diagnostics. Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure materials and tools are properly stocked. Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and jobsite requirements. Work closely with field personnel and other trades to support project completion. Document work performed and communicate progress to supervisors and lead technicians. Continuously develop technical knowledge and skills related to building automation and controls systems.
Requirements:
Must be able to pass a criminal background check Must have reliable transportation Technical degree, certification, or equivalent hands‑on HVAC experience Ability to read HVAC control drawings, wiring diagrams, and sequences of operation Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Willingness to travel to project sites and work extended hours during start‑up phases
