Job Description

Join the Arthur Heating & Air Family Arthur Heating & Air is a growing, family-owned HVAC company serving the DFW area. We're looking for an experienced Residential Service Technician who takes pride in their work, enjoys helping customers, and wants to be part of a team that genuinely cares about its employees. Duties & Responsibilities Diagnose and repair residential heating, cooling, and ventilation systems Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigerant, airflow, and control-related issues Perform maintenance inspections and identify potential concerns before they become major repairs Communicate repair recommendations clearly and professionally with homeowners Educate customers on equipment operation, maintenance plans, repair options, and system replacement opportunities when appropriate Collect payments and complete all required job documentation accurately Maintain truck inventory, tools, and company equipment Work closely with dispatch and office staff to provide a five-star customer experience Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities Maintain a professional appearance and represent Arthur Heating & Air with integrity Qualifications Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC service experience required Current EPA Certification required Texas TDLR Registration required Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and manage daily workload Positive attitude and team-first mentality Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds Ability to climb ladders, crawl through attics, and work in confined spaces Ability to work outdoors in Texas heat and varying weather conditions Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and standing Ability to safely perform all essential job functions of a residential HVAC technician What We Offer Competitive hourly pay plus performance incentives Company vehicle Company tablet and uniforms Health insurance options Paid holidays and PTO Ongoing technical and leadership training Family-oriented work environment Team events and company gatherings throughout the year Opportunities for advancement as we continue to grow Why Arthur Heating & Air? $75,000 - $150,000+ annually based on experience, performance, and production
