Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of maintaining and repairing essential climate control systems across diverse properties. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise, technical skills, and passion for service to ensure optimal indoor comfort and system efficiency. As an HVAC Technician, you will perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems. Your work will directly impact the safety, comfort, and operational success of our clients' facilities. Responsibilities Install, service, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment (including ammonia refrigeration), and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend system lifespan. Troubleshoot electrical components using tools such as ohmmeters and perform mechanical repairs involving welding or component replacement. Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems including pipe fitting and leak repairs. Maintain detailed service records, inspection reports, and logs for all work performed. Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all installation and repair activities. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related mechanical fields with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems. Knowledge of construction practices relevant to HVAC installation projects. Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design principles. Mechanical knowledge including boiler operation, appliance repair, welding skills, and property maintenance experience. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing equipment effectively. Experience working in field service environments with a focus on equipment repair and maintenance. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a driver is preferred. Additional skills such as refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), plumbing expertise, welding capabilities, or boiler operation are highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities to interact with clients confidently. $27.72 - $33.38 per hour
