00 per hour (based on experience) About Us We are a well-established commercial kitchen HVAC/R service company that has proudly served the San Antonio area for over 20 years. As our business continues to grow, we are expanding our service team and looking for an experienced technician with strong commercial service skills. This position involves a combination of commercial HVAC, refrigeration, and hot-side kitchen equipment service. While the primary focus is on walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, reach-in refrigeration units, and ice machines, our technicians also service a wide range of commercial cooking equipment, including ovens, fryers, vent hoods, griddles, steamers, warmers, and other commercial kitchen equipment. Experience with hot-side equipment is a plus; however, candidates with strong refrigeration and HVAC experience who are eager to expand their skill set are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration systems. Service commercial kitchen refrigeration equipment, including walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, reach-in units, and ice machines. Diagnose and repair commercial cooking equipment, including ovens, fryers, griddles, steamers, warmers, and vent hood systems. Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service repairs. Complete equipment installations and replacements as needed. Service commercial HVAC equipment as required. Work independently or as part of a team on larger projects. Safely perform work in a variety of environments, including rooftops, ladders, crawl spaces, and refrigerated spaces. Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of commercial refrigeration experience, including walk-ins, reach-ins, and ice machines. Minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC experience preferred. EPA Universal Certification (Required). Valid Texas Driver's License with a clean driving record. Clean background record. Ability to lift 50-60 pounds and perform physically demanding work. Comfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and confined spaces. Fluent in English; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills. Schedule & Availability Monday-Friday (8:00 AM-5:00 PM standard hours) Must be flexible for after-hours emergency service calls. Participation in an on-call rotation is required.
