About Us Walker Heating and Cooling has been serving Tyler and the surrounding communities since 1999. We have built our reputation on quality work, honesty, and treating people right. Along with residential and light commercial service, we are one of the few shops in the region that also installs geothermal systems (don't worry, we will train you). Position Overview We are looking for a HVAC install lead who will be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems in residential and light-commercial properties, supported by install helpers. You will be the face of Walker to contractors, delivering best-in-class service, building trust, and adding value every step of the way. Duties Lead the installation of new and replacement HVAC systems in residential and light commercial settings. Knowledge of equipment installation, ductwork installation, setting refrigerant lines, low voltage wiring, and condensate drain lines Work effectively with colleagues to complete projects in a timely manner. Support more junior installers to develop skills in installing heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly handled. Ability to interpret blueprints, codes, and manuals to ensure accurate and efficient installations
