Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician and become a vital part of creating comfortable, efficient indoor environments. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems with precision and professionalism. Your expertise will ensure that clients enjoy optimal air quality and climate control while adhering to safety standards and industry best practices. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and field service skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment, following detailed schematics and HVAC design plans. Conduct system troubleshooting and repairs on existing equipment such as refrigeration units, appliances, and property maintenance systems. Read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and maintenance procedures. Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/Refrigeration) systems to optimize performance and extend equipment lifespan. Use specialized tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for system fabrication or repair needs. Maintain detailed service records, logs of inspections, repairs, and installations to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Communicate effectively with clients about system operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in construction-related roles or as a service technician within HVAC or mechanical fields. Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in plumbing, refrigeration, ammonia refrigeration systems, and boiler operations. Ability to read technical schematics and HVAC design documents accurately. Hands-on experience with equipment repair, welding techniques, and property maintenance tasks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration technology. Skilled in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Experience in field service environments with a focus on appliance repair or maintenance work. Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces while adhering to safety standards. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
