Job Description

About JM Mechanical We are looking for a Mechanical BIM Technician who is passionate about Revit, coordination, and building efficient systems that improve project execution from design through installation. Position Overview This role is responsible for developing and coordinating mechanical BIM models for commercial HVAC and mechanical construction projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically strong in Revit, and enjoys working collaboratively with project managers, field teams, and other trades to solve real-world coordination challenges. Responsibilities Develop and maintain detailed mechanical BIM models and construction drawings using Revit Manage BIM project workflows, model organization, and drawing coordination Create and maintain Revit families, templates, and project standards Support interdisciplinary coordination and clash detection efforts with other trades Collaborate with project managers, field teams, and subcontractors to improve constructability and coordination Assist in developing and improving BIM standards, workflows, and modeling best practices Revise and update models throughout the project lifecycle Maintain accurate and organized project documentation and model files Qualifications Proficiency in Revit for mechanical drafting and modeling Strong understanding of BIM coordination workflows Ability to read and interpret construction documents and mechanical plans Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in commercial HVAC or mechanical construction Familiarity with Navisworks or clash detection software Experience with Revit family creation and template management Understanding of MEP coordination processes and field installation workflows Why You'll Love Working Here Full benefits : Health, vision, dental insurance; 401(k) with company match Paid time off : Vacation, holidays Training & development : Ongoing learning, certifications

$22-27
