Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician and become a vital part of creating comfortable, safe, and energy-efficient environments. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems in residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems operate smoothly and efficiently. Duties Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems according to schematics and design specifications Conduct system inspections to ensure proper operation and compliance with safety standards Use technical tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment, including cleaning filters, inspecting ductwork, and calibrating controls Repair or replace faulty components such as compressors, fans, motors, valves, and refrigerant lines Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and plumbing diagrams to accurately install systems Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC/R systems and appliance repair as needed Work with ammonia refrigeration systems when required, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving welding, mechanical repairs, or boiler servicing Skills Strong construction background with experience in installing mechanical systems in diverse environments Proven service technician experience specializing in HVAC/R or related fields such as refrigeration or appliance repair Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents accurately Mechanical knowledge of HVAC components including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, ductwork, and plumbing connections Experience with field service operations requiring troubleshooting electrical circuits using tools like ohmmeters Skilled in equipment repair techniques including welding and mechanical adjustments for optimal system performance Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and safety procedures for handling refrigerants or hazardous materials Knowledge of property maintenance practices related to HVAC systems to ensure long-term functionality Valid driver license for safe transportation between job sites Experience working with HVAC/R systems involving complex controls such as thermostats or automation panels Join us to make a tangible impact by installing reliable climate control solutions!
