Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an HVAC Service Technician Apprentice and kickstart your career in the exciting field of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. This paid apprenticeship offers hands-on experience working alongside seasoned professionals, providing a comprehensive introduction to the essential skills needed to become a skilled HVAC technician. You will learn to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of HVAC and related systems, gaining valuable industry knowledge and practical expertise. This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop technical skills in HVAC. Responsibilities Assist experienced technicians in diagnosing and repairing HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and appliances. Support the installation and maintenance of HVAC equipment following schematics and HVAC design plans. Participate in field service activities such as routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and emergency repairs. Contribute to property maintenance tasks including equipment repair, boiler servicing, and general mechanical upkeep. Support logistics by assisting with driver duties for parts delivery or equipment transport as needed. Develop skills in heating and air conditioning units through practical training sessions. Adhere to safety protocols during all service activities to ensure a secure working environment. Experience No prior professional experience is required; however, candidates with a background in construction or mechanical fields are highly desirable. Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, schematics interpretation, or plumbing is a plus. Experience with field service work or property maintenance will help accelerate your learning curve. Mechanical aptitude combined with strong problem-solving skills is essential for success in this apprenticeship. A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is preferred for supporting on-site service calls.
