Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor comfort, energy efficiency, and safety by diagnosing issues, performing installations, and delivering exceptional service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and technical skills in a fast-paced, rewarding setting that values proactive problem-solving and customer satisfaction. Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Conduct routine inspections of HVAC equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate, ensuring continuous operation. Perform plumbing and refrigeration tasks related to HVAC systems, including ammonia refrigeration applications when necessary. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and welding equipment for component repairs or modifications. Maintain detailed service records, logs of repairs performed, and compliance documentation for property maintenance standards. Operate a driver vehicle safely to transport equipment or parts between job sites while adhering to all safety protocols. Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong background in construction and property maintenance. Mechanical aptitude with familiarity in schematics reading, HVAC design principles, plumbing systems, and appliance repair. Ability to use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and perform equipment repair tasks including welding when necessary. Experience working in field service environments with a focus on property upkeep and mechanical system troubleshooting. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to operate large vehicles safely. Additional skills such as boiler operation experience, welding certification, or mechanic experience are highly desirable.
