JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a Commercial HVAC Installer in the Charlotte area to lead the installation and commissioning of large-scale commercial and industrial HVAC systems. This role will focus on the setup of new equipment, system integration, and ensuring all installations meet design specifications and performance standards. The technician will be responsible for installing a variety of HVAC units (2-50 tons), including rooftop units, split systems, and specialty equipment. This includes reading blueprints and mechanical layouts, setting and connecting equipment, running piping and ductwork transitions, and completing system startups. You will partner with project teams, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure installations are completed on schedule and aligned with project requirements. This role also requires maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and building codes throughout all phases of installation. Additional responsibilities include documenting installation progress, verifying system functionality during startup, and supporting basic post-install adjustments to ensure optimal system performance.Compensation:
$20/hr to $40/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
