Competitive hourly rate or salary (based on experience) About the Role We're looking for a dependable and skilled HVAC Mechanic to join our team, specializing in residential new construction . You'll be responsible for installing heating and cooling systems in new homes from the ground up—ensuring quality, efficiency, and code compliance every step of the way. Key Responsibilities Install HVAC systems (furnaces, air handlers, heat pumps, condensers, and ductwork) in new homes Read and interpret blueprints, job plans, and mechanical layouts Measure, cut, and fabricate duct systems according to specifications Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and local building codes Perform startup and testing of installed systems Maintain a clean, organized job site and adhere to all safety standards Communicate effectively with builders, supervisors, and inspectors Document work performed and report progress daily Qualifications 3+ years of HVAC installation experience (residential new construction required) Proficient in ductwork layout and fabrication Strong understanding of HVAC system design and airflow principles EPA 608 Certification (Type II or Universal) preferred Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work in attics, crawl spaces, and other job site conditions Excellent work ethic and attention to detail Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Paid holidays and vacation Company vehicle and tools (depending on position level) Advancement opportunities within a growing company About Lovell Mechanical, LLC Lovell Mechanical, LLC is a trusted residential HVAC contractor serving [region/area].
