Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer Technician! In this energized role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems to ensure optimal indoor air quality and comfort. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, ventilation systems, boilers, and refrigeration equipment, following schematics and HVAC design plans. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on existing HVAC equipment to optimize performance and extend lifespan. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and mechanical drawings to accurately install and repair systems. Conduct service calls for appliance repair, property maintenance issues, or system failures in various settings. Use diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters to identify electrical issues; perform welding or mechanical repairs as needed. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including service reports, installation logs, and maintenance schedules. Ensure compliance with safety standards and local building codes during all installation and repair activities. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related fields such as refrigeration, plumbing, or mechanical maintenance. Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles (including ammonia refrigeration), and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) principles. Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings accurately; familiarity with HVAC design is a plus. Mechanical knowledge that includes boiler operation, appliance repair, welding skills, and property maintenance. Field service experience with the ability to troubleshoot electrical components using tools like ohmmeters. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driver certification preferred. Additional skills such as welding, equipment repair, boiler operation, or mechanic experience are highly desirable.
