Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an expeirienced Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and mechanical maintenance. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of HVAC equipment and related systems across commercial and residential properties. The technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal operation of heating and cooling systems, with opportunities to apply expertise in construction, schematics, HVAC design, and equipment repair. A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites. Opportunities for advancement within company for the right individual. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and appliances. Perform routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans. Install new HVAC systems and components following safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. Conduct plumbing repairs related to HVAC systems, including ammonia refrigeration if applicable. Weld or perform other mechanical repairs as needed on equipment or ductwork. Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed. Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all service activities. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC infrastructure when necessary. Requirements Proven experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with knowledge of HVAC/R systems. Strong mechanical knowledge including refrigeration, plumbing, boiler operation, and appliance repair. Holds a valid EPA 608 Certification. Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design principles. Experience with equipment repair, welding, and maintenance tasks. Familiarity with field service operations in construction or property maintenance environments. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required ( driver). Additional skills such as welding, ammonia refrigeration handling, or boiler operation are a plus. Ability to work independently or within a team in various settings requiring mechanical expertise.
