In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal indoor air quality, energy efficiency, and comfort for our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and field service experience in a fast-paced environment dedicated to excellence and innovation. Responsibilities Install, service, maintenance and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration systems, and ventilation equipment. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose issues and implement solutions. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend system lifespan. Troubleshoot complex mechanical problems using tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic instruments. Perform plumbing work related to HVAC systems, including pipe fitting and refrigerant charging. Repair appliances and mechanical components associated with property maintenance and HVAC/R systems. Document all service activities thoroughly, including inspections, repairs, parts used, and system performance reports. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician with a strong background in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair. Knowledge of schematics, HVAC design principles, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), and plumbing fundamentals. Mechanical aptitude with experience in equipment repair, welding, boiler operation, and mechanical troubleshooting. Familiarity with field service procedures for property maintenance and appliance repair. Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters effectively. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred. Certification or hands-on experience in HVAC/R systems; additional certifications in refrigeration or ammonia refrigeration are advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience in construction or property maintenance environments.
