Hours:

This position is a full-time, hourly, and non-exempt position. Our business hours are 7am-4pm. Our installer schedules vary based on workload. Working hours may exceed 8 hours a day and may exceed 40 hours per week during busier times of the year. Compensation starting between $18-$25hr (subject for discussion) depending on experience and monthly bonuses.

Location:

This position is performed on the road in the greater King & Snohomish area. We try to keep our installers north or south of Seattle based on their residency with exceptions based on customer needs. Job Duties /

Responsibilities:

• Gather information and data about equipment being installed, noting levels and readings of different components on equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Work with office staff to pick up correct material and equipment from one of our shops to match what was purchased by customer.
• Engage in client discussions professionally and politely to uncover their needs and works with their team leaders to address issues if beyond knowledge base.

Skills:

• Understanding and follow through in Good Guys Heating's values and company policies.
• Confident and professional communication skills via phone and face to face interaction with homeowners and team members.
• Experience with and able to navigate mobile devices with the ability to learn new software.
• Attention to detail when debriefing office or homeowner about your findings in the field.
• Service oriented and ability to interact with all customer service scenarios (positive and negative).

Ability to empathize and work through challenging problem-solving situations.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• HVAC experience preferred but not required, with additional training provided.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to be on your feet / knees for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in crawl spaces and attics for periods of time.

-Must work on ladders and drive safely from job site to job site.
