Certification Journeyman HVAC Mechanical knowledge Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, with the ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain various heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the capability to work with schematics to ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and heating systems. Diagnose issues with HVAC/R equipment and provide effective solutions. Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to troubleshoot system malfunctions. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficiency. Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used during repairs. Communicate effectively with clients regarding service needs and recommendations. Collaborate with team members on larger projects or complex repairs as needed. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in HVAC technology. Requirements Proven experience in HVAC/R installation, maintenance, and repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Familiarity with reading schematics and technical manuals related to HVAC equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a field service environment. Valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites. Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC are preferred but not mandatory.
