Full Job Description:
We are seeking a self motivated and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems across light commercial and residential properties. Your expertise will ensure optimal service to our community as well as being an exceptional team player. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical knowledge and field service experience in a environment dedicated to excellence and customer satisfaction. Job Tasks Service/repair & limited installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and related mechanical systems in various property settings safely and in a timely manner. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, technical manuals, and HVAC design documents to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC equipment including boilers, air conditioning units, refrigeration systems, water heaters and limited appliances to ensure optimal operation within a timely manner. Troubleshoot electrical and refrigeration components; perform equipment repairs or replacements as needed. Perform tasks related to HVAC systems including pipe fitting, electrical work, refrigeration handling, venting related repairs/installation if applicable. Utilize brazing skills for repairs or modifications within HVAC systems Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed; communicate effectively with team members and clients about system status and recommendations Pay rate is based on skills listed blow: Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in the HVAC field as well as new construction environments preferred. Proven service technician experience with a focus on HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) systems Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately; familiarity with HVAC design principles is a plus Experience with plumbing systems related to HVAC systems. Skilled in appliance repair, property maintenance, boiler operation, and general equipment repair. Field service experience working directly at customer sites; excellent customer service and communication skills as well as being a team player. Familiarity with mechanical & electrical tools with the ability to perform electrical troubleshooting confidently and safely. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments; strong communication skills are essential. Strong time management skills and communication skills with your team & supply houses as well as customers. Valid drivers license with a clean driving record is required. Brazing techniques required. Sheet metal techniques preferred. EPA universal required. 06A or 06B Electrical license preferred.
