This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, boilers, and related mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, field service experience, and the ability to interpret schematics and HVAC design plans. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects in property maintenance and appliance repair environments while developing your skills in HVAC/R systems. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration systems (including ammonia refrigeration), boilers, and related mechanical equipment. Read and interpret schematics, HVAC design plans, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installation and maintenance. Perform routine maintenance tasks on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal operation and efficiency. Repair appliances and mechanical components using welding techniques or specialized tools. Support property maintenance activities by ensuring HVAC systems operate reliably across various facilities. Collaborate with team members on field service projects, providing technical support as needed. Maintain detailed service records and communicate effectively with clients regarding system performance. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC, refrigeration, or related mechanical fields. Knowledge of construction practices relevant to HVAC system installation. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical troubleshooting techniques. Hands-on experience with plumbing, appliance repair, boiler operation, and equipment repair. Ability to read technical manuals and electrical schematics accurately. Mechanical aptitude with proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems or HVAC/R is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by welding skills is preferred. •We will need 3 NON SKILLED people and 3 SKILLED HVAC installers •

$22.00 - $40.00 per hour
