This position is responsible for the installation, replacement, and startup of residential heating, cooling, and ventilation systems while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities Install residential furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, boilers, ductwork, and indoor air quality products. Remove and replace existing HVAC equipment according to manufacturer specifications and local codes. Perform system startups and verify proper operation. Measure, fabricate, and install sheet metal and ductwork as needed. Maintain a clean and organized job site. Communicate professionally with homeowners and answer basic questions regarding system operation. Complete installation paperwork and document materials used. Follow all safety procedures and company policies. Work closely with service technicians, dispatch, and office staff to ensure customer satisfaction. Participate in training and continuing education opportunities. Qualifications Previous HVAC installation experience preferred (1-3 years or more). EPA Certification required or ability to obtain. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to read installation manuals and wiring diagrams. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in confined spaces, attics, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
