In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of HVAC systems to ensure optimal comfort and air quality in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Your mechanical expertise and technical skills will drive successful project completion, helping clients achieve efficient climate control solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge HVAC technology while developing your skills in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Duties Install new HVAC systems including air conditioning units, ventilation fans, boilers, and refrigeration equipment according to schematics and design specifications Conduct system diagnostics using electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters to troubleshoot issues effectively Repair and maintain mechanical systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely Interpret HVAC schematics, blueprints, and building automation system diagrams to guide installations and repairs Perform plumbing and electrical connections required for HVAC equipment setup and service Test systems post-installation or repair to verify proper operation and compliance with safety standards such as EPA regulations for refrigerants Collaborate with service technicians on field service tasks including appliance repair, property maintenance, and equipment upgrades Use welding tools and techniques when necessary for custom fittings or repairs involving metal components Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system diagnostics for each project Requirements Proven construction experience with a strong mechanical knowledge base Previous experience as an HVAC service technician or installer preferred Familiarity with HVAC design principles, schematics, and building automation systems Knowledge of refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus Electrical diagnostics skills combined with plumbing expertise for comprehensive system troubleshooting Valid EPA certification for refrigerant handling required; additional certifications such as HVAC/R or boiler licenses are advantageous Mechanical systems repair experience including boilers, pumps, and mechanical systems maintenance Ability to operate diagnostic tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment safely and effectively Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers or similar vehicles preferred Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in field service environments Join us in delivering top-tier HVAC solutions that improve comfort and efficiency!
