Overview We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a thorough understanding of HVAC systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning in both residential and commercial settings. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for ensuring optimal system performance and customer satisfaction through high-quality service. Responsibilities Install new HVAC systems according to design specifications and local codes. Perform routine maintenance on existing systems to ensure efficiency and longevity. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with HVAC equipment using appropriate tools and techniques. Repair or replace faulty components, including motors, compressors, and thermostats. Utilize schematics to understand system layouts and identify problems. Conduct equipment repairs on-site while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and inventory management. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and property maintenance. Proficient in using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing. Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a van for transportation to job sites. Familiarity with design principles related to HVAC installations is beneficial. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
