Job Title:
HVAC Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for delivering and installing rented HVAC equipment, troubleshooting, and ensuring the safe operation of equipment. Your expertise will help us provide top-notch service to our customers across Wisconsin. Responsibilities Communicate professionally with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls. Deliver and install rented HVAC equipment and train authorized personnel on the safe use of equipment. Direct customers to sign appropriate paperwork and keep track of serial numbers. Troubleshoot and understand the operation, function, specifications, capabilities, and controls of rental equipment. Install flexible gas hoses on both propane and natural gas applications. Visit job sites across Wisconsin to set up, operate, tear down, and repair AC units and heaters. Understand how to build HVAC units for repair purposes, utilizing knowledge of mechanical inclinations, blueprints, hand tools, and power tools. Essential Skills 3+ years of HVAC experience. Heavy equipment operation. Construction and plumbing knowledge. HVAC repair, installation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Work Environment Experience a supportive and team-oriented work environment. You will be on call for emergency service on a rotating schedule, working alongside a team. Our climate-controlled facility operates on 1st shift hours from Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm. During summer, expect mandatory 50-hour weeks, with alternating schedules between 40 and 50 hours. Travel 2-3 times a month, with all expenses covered. You'll work in groups, ensuring you are never alone. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Watertown, WI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
