Job Description

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in diagnosing problems, solving complex mechanical issues, and delivering high-quality service. As a key member of our maintenance and service team, you will work on a variety of HVAC, refrigeration, ventilation, and mechanical systems across our properties. We are looking for a dependable technician who can work independently, communicate professionally, and help us maintain safe, efficient, and comfortable environments. What You'll Do Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and residential HVAC systems Service air conditioning equipment, boilers, refrigeration systems, ventilation systems, and associated controls Perform preventative maintenance inspections and identify potential issues before failures occur Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related system failures Repair or replace motors, compressors, controls, valves, sensors, and other HVAC components Perform plumbing-related work associated with HVAC equipment, including piping and drainage systems Complete service documentation and maintenance records accurately Operate service vehicles safely while traveling between properties and job sites Maintain compliance with all company safety standards and industry regulations Assist with general mechanical maintenance and facility repairs as needed Qualifications 3+ years of HVAC service experience preferred EPA Section 608 Certification required (or ability to obtain) Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Experience with refrigeration systems and HVAC controls Knowledge of plumbing systems related to HVAC equipment Welding and fabrication experience is a plus Experience with commercial HVAC systems preferred Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems is highly desirable Valid driver's license with a clean driving record What Makes You Successful Strong problem-solving ability Self-motivated and dependable Excellent attention to detail Professional communication skills Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Why Join Us? $55,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
