Industrial Refrigeration & HVAC Technician

Job Overview We are seeking an Industrial Refrigeration & HVAC Technician to manage critical climate systems for our medical device manufacturing plant. Our facility utilizes Level 7 and Level 4 clean rooms that require exact temperature, humidity, and pressure control. You will be the facility expert responsible for the uptime and precision of our industrial refrigeration and Air Handling Units (AHUs).

Responsibilities Critical Environment Control:

Maintain HVAC systems to ensure Level 7 and Level 4 clean room specifications are met (temperature, RH%, and pressure cascades).

Industrial Refrigeration:

Troubleshoot and repair process chillers and specialized refrigeration systems, including support for lyophilization (freeze-drying) equipment.

System Diagnostics:

Monitor and maintain Building Management Systems (BMS) and automated environmental feedback loops.

Preventative Maintenance:

Routine service on compressors, motors, and high-efficiency filtration systems. Requirements 5+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC/R experience. EPA Section 608 Universal Certification (Required). Experience troubleshooting 480V 3-phase equipment. Prior experience in clean rooms, labs, or hospitals is highly preferred.

Compensation & Flexibility Hourly Rate:

$32.00 - $36.00 per hour.

We offer a high straight-hourly rate in lieu of a standard benefits package. Rate flexibility is available for candidates with advanced industrial refrigeration or clean room experience.
