Job Description

United Talent Staffing is seeking an experienced HVAC - Lead Installer to oversee and participate in the installation of residential and/or commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role is responsible for leading installation crews, ensuring quality workmanship, maintaining safety compliance, and coordinating with supervisors, clients, and project teams to complete jobs efficiently and correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise HVAC installation crews on job sites Install HVAC systems including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, and ventilation systems Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Ensure installations meet manufacturer standards and local building codes Train and mentor junior installers and helpers Coordinate materials, equipment, and job schedules with project managers Inspect completed installations for quality assurance Troubleshoot installation issues and implement solutions on-site Maintain accurate job documentation and reports Promote and enforce workplace safety standards
Qualifications:
3-5+ years of HVAC installation experience required Prior leadership or crew lead experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of residential and/or commercial HVAC systems Ability to read blueprints and technical schematics EPA Certification required (Universal preferred) Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Pay & Schedule:
Competitive pay based on experience Full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:45 AM - 4:30 PM Overtime may be required based on project timelines Occasional evening or weekend work may be required
Working Conditions:
Work performed in indoor and outdoor environments with varying temperature conditions Frequent standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and lifting
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in confined spaces such as attics and crawl spaces Ability to lift 50 pounds and push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier materials when needed Good visual acuity including close, distance, and peripheral vision with depth perception Willingness to work outside normal business hours when required How to
