Responsibilities Support HVAC and plumbing technicians in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, cooling, refrigeration, and plumbing systems. Assist with reading schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans to ensure accurate system setup. Handle basic equipment repair tasks using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment under supervision. Participate in field service activities including appliance repair, air conditioning maintenance, and property upkeep. Aid in the installation and maintenance of ammonia refrigeration systems and HVAC/R units. Help with the use of diagnostic tools to identify issues with boilers, refrigeration units, or mechanical equipment. Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocols during all tasks and assisting with equipment maintenance. Qualifications Prior experience or familiarity with construction sites, service technician roles, or property maintenance is preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, plumbing, refrigeration, or appliance repair. Ability to read schematics and understand HVAC design concepts is a plus. Experience with field service operations or equipment repair enhances your candidacy. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems or HVAC/R certifications is advantageous but not required. Willingness to learn and operate specialized tools such as ohmmeters or diagnostic equipment.
