Job Description

Willo Products is a leading provider and installer of locking device upgrades and retrofits, replacement control panels, We are currently seeking a Lead Field Installation Technician.
Primary Responsibilities:
Installing Willo Products locking and sliding door devices, door frames and panel, hardware, etc. Welding and basic metal fabrication per engineering plans Traveling to correctional facilities to assess electrical and mechanical issues. Troubleshooting and rectifying problems with electromechanical locks, sliding door devices, and door control panels Communicating efficiently between project site and Installation Manger Maintaining comprehensive records of work performed and associated expenses
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years' experience in working with mechanical systems and electromechanical devices or related experience Minimum of 3 years experience Welding and Fabricating Min 3 years experience leading Field Projects and Developing Teams MIG/Flux core welding Light fabrication skills, with an understanding of basic fabrication tools including hand and power tools (saws, grinders, drills and wrenches) and measuring and marking tools (calipers, rulers, and marking pens) Ability to work well on team or solo projects Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting skills Proficiency in interpreting and comprehending construction and engineering drawings is a plus Ability to project professionalism as a representative of the company Extensive travel (80% of the time) and work at various locations across the US. Travel may require being at the jobsite for up to 3 weeks at a time before a return trip home Ability to pass background checks and drug screen Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Relevant job experience and qualifications may impact wage range.
