Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing various industrial equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure optimal operation and safety of machinery, contributing to the overall efficiency of our production processes. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial machinery and equipment, including hydraulic and compressed air systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and ammeters to diagnose problems effectively. Execute stick welding and other welding techniques to repair or fabricate components as needed. Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability. Help to design and fabricate new production machinery as needed. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to promote workplace safety. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in an industrial setting. Familiarity with electrical systems and electrical components is preferred. Experience with hydraulics and HVAC systems is a plus. Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ammeters. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks as required.
