Job Description
Job Summary The Production Mechanic Assistant is responsible for providing support and assistance in the maintenance, cleaning, servicing, and operation of the themed water features in and around Viejas while ensuring that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained. Job Description
- Maintains water features daily by skimming, vacuuming, and clearing debris and waste.
- Inspects and monitors the water features to ensure equipment is functioning correctly.
- Operates water feature cleaning and alignment, chemical filtration and organic filtration equipment.
- Assists in the maintenance and repair of the water feature systems to include the pump, dosing, motor, electrical distribution, sensor, and control systems.
- Assists with water testing and maintaining of the water quality levels.
- Assists the Production Mechanic Lead with fabrication tasks such as safety watches, assembly of materials and installation of equipment.
- Maintains an acceptable attendance record and punctuality, and meets all project deadlines.
- Receives and loads chemical deliveries such as Sodium Hypochlorite, Bromine, Acid, and Biodex cleaning agents.
- Keeps a log of daily operations and related records.
- Notifies the Lead of any maintenance problems promptly.
- Assists the Production team with loading/unloading equipment, working with lighting, sound, and media equipment, and other areas as needed.
- Assists the Entertainment and Production Department on other duties as assigned.
- Complies with and follows company and departmental policies and standard operating procedures, and applicable governmental laws and regulations.
- Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained.
