industrial maintenance mechanic

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic for maintaining, repairing, welding industrial machinery and equipment at food manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on food production equipment and the building including the compressors, exhausts, forklifts
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Fabricate and weld parts as needed to ensure proper functionality of machinery

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage and low voltage
• Proficiency in analyzing and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Experience with conveyors, motors, sprockets, gear box, air cylinders, piston pump
• Experience with welding
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable drive (VFD), sensors, etc
