Job Description

Mechanical Assembly Adecco is currently assisting one of our manufacturing clients in San Fernando Valley for a Mechanical Assembly role. If you meet the qualifications listed below and would like to find out more about the position, please Apply Now!
Responsibilities:
  • Mount finished lenses into frames, securing them using hand tools like screwdrivers and pliers ensuring proper optical alignment and orientation.
  • Verify lens power, axis, and prism using lensometers; check for surface defects (scratches, coatings).to ensure they meet, prescriptions specifications.
  • Adjust, replace, or repair broken frames and lenses
  • Use precision instruments (calipers, lensometers) to measure and verify alignment and prescriptions on lenses
  • Ensure a clean and organized workstation to promote efficiency.
  • Keep accurate records of production goals

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of mechanical assembly experience
  • Strong motor skills, and manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to stand or bend for long periods, working with small parts and handling light to moderate lifting.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong ability to interpret technical work orders prescriptions, drawings and specifications.
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus
  • Ophthalmic industry experience a plus
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members
Schedule Needed:

Pay Details:
