Job Description

$30-$36 per hour Milpitas, CA Contract

  • Job Description:
  • + We are seeking a hands-on Optical/Mechanical Precision Assembly Technician to support the assembly, testing, and integration of highly sensitive optical and mechanical systems in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. + The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, experience with precision assemblies, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Responsibilities:
  • + Assemble precision optical and mechanical components according to established procedures and quality standards.
+ Perform assembly verification, inspection, and basic testing activities. + Handle sensitive optical components with care and precision. + Support manufacturing operations, tooling activities, and assembly-related projects. + Work closely with engineering, production, and support teams to meet production schedules. + Maintain compliance with cleanroom protocols and safety requirements. + Document assembly and testing activities accurately.
  • Experience:
  • + 2+ years of experience in mechanical assembly, precision assembly, or manufacturing operations.
+ Familiarity with multimeters, pressure gauges, and basic testing equipment. + Experience working with optical assemblies, precision components, or similar high-tolerance products. + Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools. + Ability to read and follow assembly instructions, procedures, and technical documentation. + High attention to detail when handling sensitive components. + Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment while wearing full cleanroom attire. + Willingness to work overtime and weekend schedules as required.
  • Skillsets:
  • + Semiconductor manufacturing equipment + Hand Tools or Power Tools + System-level testing and validation + Cleanroom manufacturing experience
  • Education:
  • + Associate Degree, Technical Certificate, Military Technical Training, or equivalent vocational training in a technical discipline.
