LSMproducts.com We have an opening for a Product Assembly Technician/Production Assistant. Looking for a self-starter / critical thinker with mechanical ability and attention to detail. The successful candidate will become proficient as a product assembly technician and production assistant, and by developing your skill set will have the opportunity to learn CNC manufacturing if desired. Salary negotiable and dependent upon experience with bonus incentives. Upward mobility and advancement will be rewarded accordingly.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
Use craftsmanship to follow instructions accurately on assembly procedures to produce a consistent, uniform, and attractive consumer-ready end product. Kit, batch, and build multiple sub-assemblies and finished products using parts lists and instructions while keeping accurate inventory records. Proper handling and counts of finished goods and materials from pre-assembly through product packaging to outbound shipments. Ability to use communication, time management skills, accurate data entry, and work space organization to efficiently assemble products needed for on hand inventory. Package finished consumer products with labels and instructions with accurate order fulfillment and proper customer order packaging.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required. Plus ability to work in the USA. Must have organizational, multitasking, planning, and time management skills with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks. Possess mechanical ability and pride in workmanship with a willingness to add to skill set. Familiarity and the ability to use hand tools for precision assembly such as torque wenches, drills, presses, and battery operated multi-tools. Motivated self starter and problem solving individual who wants to join our team; someone who knows how to utilize available resources to learn and resolve problems daily. Experience with computers and printers and Microsoft Excel and Word / Google Docs.
