We're a tight-knit, innovative team of engineers, builders, and problem-solvers who love turning wild ideas into moving, blinking, dancing machines. About the Role We're looking for a Technician to join our team! This is a hands-on role where you'll help bring mechanical designs to life, assembling custom machines, wiring motion systems, and working closely with engineers to make sure everything moves just right. This position begins with a 2-month probationary period , after which it may convert to a full-time position based on performance. What You'll Do Read and interpret drawings, assembly prints, and wiring diagrams Build mechanical and electromechanical systems accurately according to drawings and instructions Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot and refine builds as systems come together Maintain attention to detail to ensure assemblies are safe, clean, and built to spec Communicate proactively when issues arise (we love problem solvers, not guessers) Keep projects on track with reliable, timely work and a positive attitude Prepare basic reports, build notes, or checklists when needed What We're Looking For Experience reading and working from engineering drawings (essential) Background in robotics, mechatronics, or mechanical assembly Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand and power tools Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality A team player who enjoys working with creative engineers and builders Knowledge of welding is a plus Preferred certifications include AWS Welding Certification, NIMS Machining Certification, Mechatronics Certification, or OSHA Safety Certification, though equivalent hands-on experience is equally valued. Enjoys travel.
