Equipment Mechanic We are a Denver‑based company supporting industrial and operational environments through reliable equipment, maintenance, and hands‑on technical expertise. Our team values skilled trades professionals who take pride in quality work, ownership, and teamwork. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Equipment Mechanic to join its Denver operation. This is a full‑time, day‑shift position focused on maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment critical to daily operations. The ideal candidate is mechanically strong, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a hands‑on environment.
Schedule & Pay Pay:
$35-$45 per hour (DOE)
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on municipal and industrial equipment. Perform repairs, rebuilds, and preventative maintenance on sweepers, plows, spreaders, compact equipment, and truck‑mounted systems. Install new equipment, attachments, hydraulic lines, and control systems on customer vehicles. Read and interpret service manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic prints. Document work performed, parts used, and recommendations in the service management system. Communicate repair needs, timelines, and technical findings with service advisors and customers. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop safety standards. Support field service calls for municipal yards, job sites, and customer locations as needed. Test, calibrate, and verify equipment operation after repairs or installations. Required Qualifications Proven experience as an Equipment Mechanic, Maintenance Mechanic, or similar role Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills Ability to read and follow technical documentation, manuals, and schematics Experience working with industrial or production equipment Reliable, self‑directed, and safety‑focused work style Nice to Have Electrical or PLC troubleshooting experience Welding or fabrication skills Preventive maintenance program experience Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or distribution environments Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Commerce City, CO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
