Launch Technician Qualifications 4+ years of experience in aerospace, mechanical, or construction environments Valid driver's license Obtain & maintain military installation access including DBIDS Knowledge of building, assembling, testing, and operating process piping, pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical systems Hands-on experience with assembling and operating FOD-intolerant service components and systems Experience in lockout/tagout (LOTO), hot work permits, confined space permits, rigging, & lifting Skilled in handling delicate and high-value assemblies Experience in operating heavy equipment including reach-lifts and aerial lifts Availabe to work second shift and weekends as required Regularly lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted Stand for extended periods Regularly stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces Position is located in Cape Canaveral, FL Responsibilities Build, assemble, and operate launch ground support equipment and perform handling and integration of flight hardware based on written and verbal instructions, work orders, technical drawings, CAD models, and procedures Perform precision measurement and cleaning of hardware components Operate hazardous systems, including high-energy, pressure, temperature, and high-power systems Identify discrepancies and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with engineering for resolutions and documenting corrective actions Execute component builds or assemblies as per work orders and accurately document build processes for new and repeatable assembly sequences Benefits Medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance 401(k) match Paid time off Flexible scheduling
