The company designs and manufactures hood/ventilation systems and related equipment to commercial kitchens, institutions, and governmental facilities throughout the United States and around the world. We are currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician/Assembler.
Basic Requirements:
Ability to read and interpret blueprints/work orders to determine assembly steps Operate hand tools, power tools and other equipment safely Assemble various parts and sub-assemblies, ensuring proper fit and connection Assemble products that require fastening with screws, rivets, and simple wiring Perform visual inspections and measurements to verify that the assembled product meets quality standards and specifications Responsible for moving materials and components to and from the assembly area Ability to work on feet and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Flexibility and willingness to handle duties outside of scope of job and to take on other responsibilities as needed Keep a clean and safe working environment
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum 2 years of mechanical experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with sheet metal is a plus Skilled with hand/power tools Proficient with reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions High attention to detail Effective communication and teamwork skills in a production environment.
