We are seeking an engineer to lead the development of our next generation of products and advance our existing lines. This role involves maintaining a system for engineering documentation and requires a blend of technical skill and customer interaction

What You'll Bring:

We are looking for an independent thinker with a proactive approach to engineering: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience. Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks is essential. 3+ years of Microsoft Suites experience; Apple software experience is a plus. 3+ years using AcctVantage or other ERP software. An independent thinking approach, self-motivated, a self-starter, and a team player. An assertive attitude in all engineering aspects. Excellent planning and organizational skills. Ability to effectively and efficiently multi-task and re-prioritize tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. CNC programming and operational experience is a plus. This is a full-time position.

salary:

$80,000 - $120,000 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities As a Design Engineer, you will be instrumental in product innovation and support, with responsibilities including: Handling daily troubleshooting calls with customers in a friendly and effective manner. Efficiently and effectively updating existing drawings, plans, and build books. Creating drawings, plans, and build books from initial concept discussions. Keeping all drawings, plans, and build books current and up to date. Evaluating manufacturing part layouts and methods , utilizing knowledge of materials formation, fabrication processes, tooling, production equipment capabilities, and assembly methods to ensure efficient and cost-effective assembly. Effectively troubleshooting existing product challenges/issues to determine root cause and actionable solutions. Running documented quality tests to prove reliability on new and existing products. Working independently in a constant improvement environment , providing actionable engineering solutions.
