Job DescriptionPerforms mechanical and electrical repair of all equipment associated with operations.
Installs machinery, pipes, structural steel, etc. at a multi-plant location.
Specify and purchase replacement parts and equipment.
Helps maintain correct stockroom inventory.
Receives and carries out directions accurately and efficiently.
Operates in compliance with all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations.
Knows and complies with all corporate/plant policies and procedures.
Demonstrates commitment to Responsible Care in every day activities.
Directs all or portions of maintenance work crew or in concert with others as directed.
Interprets and reacts to instrumentation readings to control the process.
Diagnoses problems and determines course of action to solve or correct situation.
Maintains housekeeping.
Ability to self direct assignments and complete in a safe and efficient manner.
Additional Duties & ResponsibilitiesParticipates in plant-wide HSE, quality and productivity initiatives.
Paricipates on the Safety Committee on a voluntary rotational basis.
Participates in HSE activities (i.e., Toolbox meetings, accident investigations, hazard IDs, etc.)Performs special projects or other duties as directed.
Completion of Four Technical Trade Courses (Apprentice Program)Electrical Knowledge 480V MCC Buckets -
Experience working on Pumps; Centrifugal, Gear, Rotary, Submersible, Diaphragm, Etc.
Experience working on Cartridge Seals, Air Seals, Packing, Etc.
Experience in Pipe Fitting; Threaded, Welded, Compression, Etc.
Experience working on Agitators, Airlocks, Bagger Unit, Etc.
Experience working with Shop Tools; Drill Press, Hydraulic Press, Band Saw, Belt Sander, Weld Machine, Etc.
Experience in Coupling/Shafts Alignments and their tools

Troubleshooting and Minor RepairsWelding ExperienceExperience:
Industrial Maintenance Experience 5+ Years PreferredExperience working on Industrial Conveying Systems; Screw, Trays, Rollers, Belt, Elevators, Screen-boxes, Etc.Experience working on Pumps; Centrifugal, Gear, Rotary, Submersible, Diaphragm, Etc.
Experience working on Cartridge Seals, Air Seals, Packing, Etc.
Experience in Pipe Fitting; Threaded, Welded, Compression, Etc.
Experience working on Agitators, Airlocks, Bagger Unit, Etc.
Experience working with Shop Tools; Drill Press, Hydraulic Press, Band Saw, Belt Sander, Weld Machine, Etc.
