Mechanical Designer (Part-Time or Full-Time Position)

JMX High Voltage, 215 Etowah Trc, Fayetteville, GA 30214 Job description: JMX High Voltage is seeking a part-time or a full-time Mechanical Designer to add to our design team at our location in Fayetteville, GA (South Metro Atlanta area). In this role, you will play a key role in the ongoing design of our high voltage test equipment and supporting our mission to provide exceptional products for the power industry.

Responsibilities:

Design mechanical components and systems for high voltage test equipment using Autodesk Inventor software. Create/revise detailed schematics and assembly drawings to support manufacturing processes. Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs meet specifications and standards. Conduct design reviews and modifications based on feedback from testing phases. Utilize GD&T principles to ensure precision in mechanical designs. Assist in the assembly and testing of prototypes to validate design functionality.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years experience in Mechanical Design. Proficient in Autodesk Inventor, Fusion, SolidWorks, or similar software. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in mechanical design processes. Familiarity with GD&T principles. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and drawings. Experience with Autodesk Inventor is a plus.
