FIRST SHIFT INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a First Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician for a company based in Marietta, GA. In this role, you will keep production equipment running safely and efficiently within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment, while advancing your technical skills in a quality-driven operation that values precision and continuous improvement. Pay Rate Starting at $25.00 per hour, pay increases based on experience Schedule and Hours Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Must be available for emergency or after-hours maintenance as needed. First Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment including filling lines, cappers, labelers, conveyors, mixers, and compounding tanks. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Support HVAC, air compressors, water systems, chillers, and facility utilities. Execute and document Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities in accordance with GMP and ISO standards. Assist with installation, commissioning, and validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) of new equipment. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and audit-ready documentation while managing spare parts inventory and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate with Production, QA, and Engineering to minimize downtime and protect product quality. Follow lockout/tagout (LOTO), safety procedures, and Good Manufacturing Practices at all times. First Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; Technical or Associate degree preferred. 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or GMP-regulated environment. Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics. Familiarity with
ISO 9001, ISO
22716, and FDA-regulated environments preferred. Computer skills and experience with maintenance tracking systems. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in production environments. Strong organizational and communication skills. Drug screening and background check required.
