Mechanical Assembly Technician:
M-F 7am-3:30pm DOE Pay Rate of the
Mechanical Assembly Technician:
$20-$22/hr DOE Responsibilities of the
Mechanical Assembly Technician:
Assemble, test, and calibrate electronic, mechanical, and electrolytic components as required. Operate test and calibration equipment used by the instrument shop. Read, interpret, and understand written or verbal requirements, procedures, and specifications. Identify non-conforming parts/materials during the assembly process and notify the supervisor. Maintain conformance with
ISO 9001
2015 procedures and in-house quality control. Qualifications of the
Mechanical Assembly Technician:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Excellent hand/eye coordination and mechanical aptitude. Ability to use a variety of small hand tools, including soldering equipment.
