Full Job Description Description:
Job Summary This position is responsible for professional engineering work in research, development, testing analysis from concept to production. Executes engineering tests to determine quality, durability and overall product satisfaction and use. Responsibilities Generate drawings for prototypes and release of all fabricated parts for production in 3D Analyze data and product specifications to determine feasibility of product proposal Work with cross-functional departments in the efforts of product realization Work with manufacturing to track and resolve defect issues. Identify, formulate and produce effective solutions to emerging problems Evaluate final product's overall performance, reliability and safety Alter and modify design to meet requirements and to eliminate malfunctions Work in a fast paced environment
Requirements:
Requirements BS Degree preferred or experience in design engineering Proven working experience in engineering or design related field Experience in Metal Fabrication Knowledge of injection molding, vacuum forming and electrical is a plus Proficient in 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools (e.g. AutoCAD, Inventor or Solid Works) Adequate knowledge of engineering standard practices Creativity and analytical skills Ability to communicate technical knowledge in a clear and understandable manner Strong written and oral communication skills Highly motivated, self-starter, able to manage multiple priorities
