Job Description

Job Title Electrician - Industrial Maintenance - 2nd Shift About us Corey Steel Co., a division of Specialty Steel Works Inc., has led the steel industry in cold-finished steel bar manufacturing and distribution for over 100 years and we're here to stay. Responsibilities (not limited to): Inspection, assessment, maintenance, diagnosis & repair of production equipment and electrical/ mechanical systems consistent with
ISO 9000
standards. Minor/ emergency electrical repairs. Inspection, maintenance of crane systems. Building maintenance including minor electrical repairs to heating units. Some mechanical maintenance as needed.
Required Skills:
Must be able to communicate clearly and work effectively with others in a team environment as well as work independently. Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, climb, crawl and bend frequently and to lift, push or pull up to 25 pounds occasionally. Must be reliable, trustworthy and able to conduct work with integrity.
Qualifications:
Must have experience in electrical maintenance experience on large industrial machineries, in a manufacturing environment. Basic mechanical skills including experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Extensive knowledge of and experience with Allen Bradley PLC's and the ability to troubleshoot the same. Must be able read electrical schematics and drawings.
