In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing hoists and industrial lifting equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. Your electrical expertise will be essential in diagnosing complex issues, performing precise repairs, and ensuring all equipment complies with safety standards. Duties Install, inspect, and maintain hoists and related industrial lifting equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance Troubleshoot electrical systems, including wiring, schematics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and motor controls Repair mechanical components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate assembly and fabrication of equipment parts Perform routine preventive maintenance on hoists and associated machinery to minimize downtime Fabricate or modify components as needed using machining tools such as CNC machines or manual lathes Operate forklifts safely for material handling during installation or repair processes Requirements Proven electrical experience with industrial equipment, including electrical wiring, schematics, PLCs, CNC systems, and power tools Mechanical knowledge of manufacturing machinery, fabrication techniques, assembly processes, and precision measurement instruments Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately for troubleshooting and assembly tasks Experience with welding and fabrication techniques to repair or modify equipment parts Familiarity with industrial safety standards and procedures related to hoist operation and maintenance Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing setting Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Join our team to help keep our manufacturing operations running smoothly!
