Job Description

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.
  • 8-10 years of experience (Open to Associate's with 12+ years or Master's with 6+ years).
  • Internships do NOT count toward experience.
  • Previous Caterpillar experience is a plus.
Required Soft Skills:

Communication/Collaboration:
Effective written and verbal skills.2.
Project Leadership:
Ability to lead projects and define tasks independently.3.
Organization:
Strong prioritization and task management.
Required Technical Skills:
  • Experience with electric machines/electrification.
  • Experience with suppliers.
  • APQP/Quality processes.
  • Risk management (Virtual Product Development & physical testing).
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Tools (Teams, Excel).Core Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Risk Mitigation:
    Managing single-sourced electrical machines/components by collaborating with purchasing.
  • Product Support:
    Developing dealer solutions for field issues.
  • Quality & Production:
    Supporting production targets via APQP, deviation management, and issue resolution.
Project Leadership:
Leading projects from requirements management through supplier selection, validation, and issue resolution.
